M&G India is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Third-Party Risk Management to lead risk assessment, due diligence, and onboarding of external vendors. You will partner with Finance, Risk, and IT to implement robust controls and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role sits at the intersection of risk and business operations in a global financial services environment. You will coordinate with international teams, drive risk-based decision making, and contribute to a strong risk culture

Primary Key Responsibilities (Top 3-5 KRA)


  • Regularly review and enhance policies and procedures in response to changing risk landscapes.

  • Enable effective risk mitigation and implement robust processes for assessing and monitoring third‑party risk controls and performance.

  • Serve as a trusted SME in third‑party risk management, providing expert guidance and support to business units in the selection, onboarding and management of third‑party relationships.

  • Oversee due diligence, risk assessments, and onboarding processes for third‑party vendors and partners.

  • Support maintenance and oversight of the associated policy, standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring they remain effective, proportionate and aligned to regulatory requirements.


Accountabilities/Responsibilities


  • Commercial Function Collaboration: Ensure that third‑party contracts and agreements reflect appropriate risk considerations.

  • Policy Compliance Oversight: Monitor and enforce compliance with third‑party risk policies and standards across the organization.

  • Support risk awareness and promote a strong risk culture through guidance and engagement with stakeholders.

  • Vendor Relationship Management: Collaborate with business units to establish and nurture strong relationships with key third‑party vendors.

  • Oversee ongoing vendor performance monitoring and risk assessments.

  • Regulatory Awareness: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry trends pertaining to third‑party risk management.

  • Ensure that the organization’s policies and practices remain fully compliant with relevant regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification

Knowledge & Skills: Good knowledge of PRA/FCA/DORA regulatory requirements & industry standards pertaining to third‑party risk management. Strong knowledge & experience of third party risk management lifecycle and outsourcing best practices including relevant financial services regulations. Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies, data analysis, and reporting tools. Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions. Ability to work independently within a defined remit, managing schedule and objectives with minimal oversight Good written and oral communication skills displayed through confident interpersonal and presentation abilities. Ability to work within a wider team and collaborate effectively across teams, functions and geographies. Analytical and problem‑solving skills. High attention to detail and a structured approach to governance and controls.


Experience

7yrs+ experience in third party risk management (including Technology and/or security). Minimum 4 years of experience in handling end to end third‑party risk management program or a related role within the financial services industry. Experience working in global environments and managing third‑party risk programs. Experience in third party due diligence, risk assessments and onboarding processes for third‑party vendors and partners Experience using third party management and third party risk management tooling and interest in supporting the maintenance of tools, supporting data sets Awareness of TPRMO regulatory expectations.


Qualification

Graduate in any discipline / Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
