Job summary

M&G India is seeking a risk & controls professional to review and document key controls across Investments and IT, support risk governance, and ensure timely issue closure. The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and business teams to strengthen control environments.

Based in Mumbai, you will contribute to risk mitigation, risk reporting, and management of control-related analytics using BI tools, with strong emphasis on governance and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret key controls in Investments; document in MetricStream; plan key controls assessments.
• Review IT Controls (CARs and ITACs); collaborate with IT teams to gather evidences.
• Support the production of Risk Management documentation for Senior Management to discharge Supervisory duties and Mitigate Risk.
• Manage Open Issues raised by Business and Audit, ensuring timely closure; report monthly using Power BI dashboards.
• Develop processes to monitor monthly STIP and controls metrics; chase updates on SII's, Assurance issues and Risk Events.

• Review and interpret the Key controls Operating in Investments business and document the same in MetricStream, Plan Key controls assessments and Conduct independent testing on Quarterly basis.
• Review the IT Controls (CARs and ITACs), analyse the controls in detail with IT Teams to document appropriate evidences in Cluster7 and MetricStream
• Support the production of the Risk Management documentation for Senior Management to discharge their Supervisory duties and Mitigate Risk, this entails understanding the Inherent risk, gauging the effectiveness of the key controls, and documenting the residual risk.
• Management of Open Issues raised by Business and Audit for timely closure, reported on monthly basis using Power BI Dashboards
• Developing process to monitor monthly status on STIP (Short Term Incentive Pay) and controls metrics – Chasing updates on SII's, Assurance issues, Risk Events etc. Including control assessments.
• Support the delivery of MGG Top Risks and associated reporting, including the tracking of Risk Appetite flags in partnership with 2nd line ERM (Enterprise Risk Management).
• Assisting in management of the MGG Conflicts register, aggregation, analytics, and MI production.
