Reporting to: Head – SSC (Shared Services Centre)

Location: Mumbai (Wadala Office)

Company: Hong Kong based MNC into Logistics and Exports Business having operations in multiple countries especially Asia and Africa. And its a leading Logistics services company in India as well.

Role Summary

Role: Senior Manager (Finance & Accounts) SHARED SERVICES Centre

Location: Mumbai

Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant) with 6-8 years of post-qualification work experience

– Minimum 3-4 years of Working in Shared services environment in captive SSC, GBS, GCC or third part BPO services etc.

– Should have transition/migration of accounting & change management experience.

– Ability to work independently and lead and be as part of a team.

– Experience of working in ERP environment and execute automation projects.

– Working with multiple stakeholders and also worked with people of different ethnicities & nationalities

– Exposure to working on Africa entities and Africa business environment will be plus.

About COMPANY

– This role is with a MNC and company is the logistical and quality control centre for the group’s exports & imports. Exports include products such as paper and engineering equipment.

– They also specialize in sourcing various raw materials (food chemicals, food emulsifiers, various edible agents and general food ingredients) and production machinery (process, packaging, agricultural) for a wide range of food products.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Manager/Sr. Manager – Finance & Accounting (SHARED SERVICES) SSC, you will be an integral part of our finance and accounting team, working closely with experienced professionals. This position is designed to function as Co-Deliverables Lead, Custodian of Group consolidated financials and be at forefront of automation for Group initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

A) Individual Contributor

• Work in Individual Contributor Role and do consolidation of Group Management Accounts and responsible for Group FP & A function along with Budgeting and other related aspects
• Consolidation & Financial Analysis: Consolidate Group Financials, Perform financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support the decision-making process.
• Auditing: Participate in the audit process, including internal and external audits, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Preparation of financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk Management: Help identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and assignments as directed by the Organization including Automation initiatives and ERP Implementation etc.

B) Managerial

• Work as Co-Delivery Lead and ensure Deliverables are delivered within SLA’s & TAT’s
• Accounting Procedures: Responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• CO Deliverables Lead and ensure all O2C, P2P, R2R, FP & A Activities are preformed within SLA’s & TAT’s
• Lead Automation Initiatives
• Guidance & Mentorship to Transaction processing & R2R team
• Mentor F P & A team upon expansion of the scope for SSC for audit & Management accounts preparation in Local currency & Reporting currency for Group entities
