Job summary

Vissco Rehabilitation Aids in Mumbai seeks a Finance Leader to drive financial planning, reporting, and controls for a manufacturing/healthcare portfolio.

You will oversee statutory compliance, tax, audits, and cost management while mentoring a finance team. SAP expertise and CA/ICWA background are preferred; opportunity to shape costing and pricing strategies.

Qualifications

• Qualified CA/ICWA with 3–7 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing/healthcare/orthopedic goods.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Direct & Indirect Taxes, and ERP (SAP preferred).
• Proven leadership in managing tax assessments and multi-location financial operations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and people management skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis; provide actionable insights to management.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity planning.

Accounting & Controls

• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (Ind AS / IFRS, as applicable).
• Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and SOPs.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and cost accounting.
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails.

Statutory & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESIC, and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Lead statutory, internal, and cost audits and closure of audit observations.
• Costing & Business Support
• Drive product costing, margin analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Partner with operations, sales, and procurement teams to improve financial efficiency.
• Support pricing decisions and profitability analysis for new and existing products.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
• Allocate responsibilities, set goals, and review performance.
• Build a culture of ownership, accuracy, and compliance within the team.

Systems & Process Improvement

• Drive automation and improvement of finance processes and ERP systems.
• Implement best practices in financial planning, reporting, and controls.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within finance.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Chartered/ Cost Accountant / Inter CA (CA/ICWA - Inter) with 3 -7 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a manufacturing / healthcare / pharma /orthopedic goods industry.
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, Direct and Indirect Taxes, and ERP (SAP preferred).
• Proven leadership in managing tax assessments and multi-location financial operations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of amendments in taxation and regulatory requirements.
