Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles.
• MBA in Finance, Inter CA, or M.Com. qualification.
• Strong MIS, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis skills.
• Deep knowledge of revenue principles, cost structures, and inventory accounting.
• Experience in managing AR, AP, Treasury, and finance operations.
• Proven track record of independently handling audits.
• Excellent communication and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience in ecommerce/retail/supply-chain/inventory-heavy industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage AR, AP, Treasury, and FinOps.
• Lead statutory and internal audits from planning to closure.
• Address audit observations with clarity and accuracy.
• Ensure tax compliance (direct and indirect).
• Drive internal controls and financial systems improvements.
• Identify and resolve structural financial issues.
• Communicate insights to senior management.
• Support strategic decisions with data-driven analysis.

The Senior Manager - Finance will lead the financial operations at Ugaoo with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and process excellence. The role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audits, and core finance functions while working closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting and tax principles, and the ability to improve financial systems and solve operational challenges.

Responsibilities:

• Manage overall financial operations, reporting, compliance, and controls
• Prepare and analyze MIS reports, financial dashboards, and performance insights
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and Leadership teams for financial alignment
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and adherence to accounting principles
• Oversee stock and inventory accounting, reconciliations, and valuation processes
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Treasury, and FinOps
• Independently handle statutory and internal audits from planning to closure
• Address and resolve audit observations with clarity and accuracy

• Drive improvements in internal controls, financial systems, and process efficiency

Requirements:
