Job summary

RAPSYS TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Mumbai seeks an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, revenue coordination, taxation, audits, and reporting. The ideal candidate has strong accounting knowledge, hands-on Tally, and the ability to lead a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

You will manage budgeting, internal controls, GST/TDS compliance, and financial statements, while driving process improvements in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• CA / Semi-qualified CA / M.Com / MBA Finance required.
• 6–10+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Hands-on experience with Tally is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of the accounting rules.
• GST and TDS data preparation and filing experience.
• Experience in billing, invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
• Ability to manage monthly books and financial statements.
• Experience in internal and statutory audits.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, revenue coordination, accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands‑on experience with Tally, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and consultants to ensure smooth financial operations.

• Revenue & Billing: Oversee revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and preventing revenue leakages.

• Financial Reporting: Review monthly books of accounts, financial statements, accounting entries, and MIS reports.

• Policies & Process Improvement: Develop finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Audits: Manage internal and statutory audits, prepare documentation, resolve audit queries, and ensure timely closure.

• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable regulations.

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and management decision‑making through financial analysis.

• Team & Operations Management: Coordinate across departments, manage multiple priorities, and ensure timely completion of financial activities.

• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate financial processes and strengthen internal controls.

• Financial Governance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: CA / Semi‑qualified CA / M.Com / MBA Finance.

• Experience: 6–10+ years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

• Hands‑on experience with Tally is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of the golden rules of accounting.

• Practical experience in GST and TDS data preparation and return filing.

• Experience in billing, invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.

• Ability to manage monthly books of accounts and prepare financial statements.

• Experience in internal and statutory audit preparation and coordination.

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliance.

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team‑handling skills.

• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced startup environment.

• Experience in the legal, financial services, or insurance industry is preferred.
