Job summary

Stryker is seeking a senior Data Operations Leader in Gurugram to drive governance, performance measurement, and process automation across the Data organization. You will partner with multiple teams to ensure consistent, transparent operations and actionable insights.

You will establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting while mentoring leaders and advancing continuous improvement in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in data or technology operations.
• 5+ years leading operational or business support teams.
• Experience establishing operational frameworks and governance models.
• Experience developing KPIs, scorecards, and executive reporting.
• Proven track record of continuous improvement in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational governance and execution across the Data organization for consistency and accountability.
• Establish management processes, service practices, performance measurement, and operating rhythms.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, service metrics, and business outcomes.
• Drive initiatives for efficiency, automation, and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with Delivery, Product Management, Analytics, Platform, Governance, and business teams.
• Oversee operational reporting, dashboards, and leadership-ready insights.
• Facilitate issue management, escalations, service reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
• Establish readiness and transition processes for new data capabilities and services.
• Ensure compliance with governance, risk, information security, privacy, and controls.
• Standardize operating procedures, runbooks, and service delivery practices.
• Develop and mentor leaders and teams with accountability and customer focus.
• Foster continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Management, Analytics, or related discipline

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations Management, Analytics, or related discipline required. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in data operations or technology operations. 8+ years of experience in operations management, business operations, PMO, service management, data operations, or enterprise delivery organizations.
• 5+ years leading operational, governance, or business support teams.
• Experience establishing operational frameworks, performance management processes, service management practices, and organizational governance models.
• Experience developing KPIs, scorecards, executive reporting, operational dashboards, and performance measurement programs.
• Demonstrated success driving operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives in complex enterprise environments.

Preferred Skills / Engineering tools:

• Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile, service management, or process improvement certification preferred.
• Experience with executive dashboards, operational scorecards, service reviews, and governance forums strongly desired.

Certifications:

• Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Agile, or related operational disciplines preferred.
