Clarivate is seeking a Senior Manager to lead our Data Governance team in Bangalore. You will drive data quality, governance frameworks and cross-functional collaboration across global stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and CRM/finance data integrity.

Role requires extensive governance experience, strong leadership, and the ability to influence policy adoption within a large, global organization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in data governance with 5–7 years delivering governance strategies.
• 5+ years establishing governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Experience collaborating with global teams and leaders.

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, MIS, analytics or related field.

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Data Governance team in Bangalore. This is an amazing opportunity to work on data quality and data governance of customer accounts. We would love to speak with you if you have experience with handling global stakeholders and driving data governance frameworks, policies, and quality standards.

About You

• Must have minimum 12 years of data governance experience with 5 to 7 years in development and execution of data governance strategies.
• Minimum 5 years in establishing and overseeing data governance frameworks, policies, and quality standards.
• Must have proven experience in working with global teams and leaders in integrating data governance insights into strategic decision-making.
• Should have experience in managing cross functional collaboration within the integration of data systems and tools.
• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics/Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain/Operations Management.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Lead and manage one or more teams to achieve operational goals, overseeing performance, guiding work, and driving short-term results that support departmental and organizational objectives.
• Lead enterprise data governance by developing and executing long-term strategies, driving data quality and improvement initiatives, establishing governance frameworks and standards, and partnering with leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
• Influence diverse stakeholder groups and drive acceptance of policies, practices and procedures within broader areas of responsibility.
• Influence strategic initiatives at the department-level and provide input on strategic initiatives for the organization.
• Deliver consistent and timely training, guidance and feedback to encourage success , staffing based decisions, promote colleague growth through regular developmental conversations and identification of developmental opportunities.

About The Team

The team manages and governs customer master data across Salesforce and finance systems by ensuring data quality, compliance with governance standards, and seamless system integration. Leads data cleansing, hierarchy management, and large-scale data improvement initiatives while collaborating with Business Operations, Sales Operations, Order Management, Billing, Tax, and other stakeholders to support business processes and CRM transformation projects.

Hours of Work

2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST schedule (including one hour break)
