Job summary

McCormick India seeks a senior security leader to head the global Exposure Management team from Gurgaon, with a hybrid work arrangement. You will drive offensive security, attack surface management, and continuous validation to strengthen resilience across IT and OT.

The role requires a bachelor’s in CS/InfoSec, multiple security certifications, 10+ years in cybersecurity, and 3+ years leading teams. You’ll partner with business and tech leaders, be on-call 24x7, and support risk reduction

Qualifications

• Professional security certifications (CISM/GIAC/CISSP) required.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity or information technology.
• 3+ years leading operational cybersecurity teams.

• Willingness to work on-call in a 24x7 security operations model.

Shift: 1 pm to 9:30 pm IST

Work model: Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop a global Exposure Management team.
• Enhance organizational resilience through implementation of exposure management practices, including offensive security, attack surface management, and continuous validation.
• Strengthen Identification, Prioritization, and Remediation processes.
• Optimize global attack surface visibility across IT and OT through technology deployment, cross functional partnership, and process refinement.
• Partner with security leadership to drive remediation accountability and adherence to risk tolerance thresholds.
• Develop and retain a best-in-class cybersecurity team.
• Define and develop metrics to measure and socialize maturity and exposure posture with senior leadership.
• Provide thought-leadership to enterprise-wide risk reduction initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, related degree, or measurable knowledge from serving in industry/military/government unit.
• CISM, GIAC, CISSP or other relevant security professional certifications.
• Minimum 10 years professional experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
• Minimum 3 years' experience leading operational cybersecurity teams.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional teams within a large organization.Strong working knowledge of threat actor tradecraft and mitigation approaches.
• Flexibility to work on-call within a 24x7 operational security capability.
• Proven ability to successfully collaborate with business and technology leaders and teams.
• Strong problem-identification and problem-solving ability.
