Job summary

Adani Group is seeking an Executive - System & Business Excellence to drive operational excellence in wind turbine manufacturing. You will support Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen projects, coordinate BE activities with the Head Office and plant leads, and help maintain ISO certifications across processes.

You will map and improve processes using BPM tools, develop documentation, and lead knowledge sharing to foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in business excellence, process improvement, or quality management.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support operational excellence initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen events, to improve productivity and quality in WTG manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Head - System & Business Excellence and BE Leads for effective alignment of BE activities.
• Utilize BPM tools to map, analyze, and improve processes with clarity and scalability.
• Assist in maintaining ISO standards and support internal/external audits.
• Promote continuous improvement and employee engagement through training and Kaizen initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports on BE initiatives to senior management.

Job Purpose:

Executive - System & Business Excellence supports the implementation of business excellence initiatives in wind turbine manufacturing, focusing on process improvement, compliance with ISO standards, and alignment with best practices. The role assists in maintaining ISO certifications, applies the Malcolm Baldrige and EFQM frameworks, contributes to risk management efforts, and promotes a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and training. Additionally, the role coordinates with the Head Office and other departments to ensure consistent application and reporting of business excellence initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support for Operational Excellence Initiatives

• Assist in implementing operational excellence initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects and Kaizen events, to improve productivity and quality in WTG manufacturing.
• Work with the Head - System & Business Excellence and plant-based BE Leads to ensure effective coordination of business excellence activities.

Process Management and BPM Tools

• Utilize Business Process Management (BPM) tools to map, analyze, and improve processes, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with best practices.
• Support the development and maintenance of process documentation, ensuring clarity and accessibility for relevant stakeholders.

ISO Standards and Audit Support

• Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO standards relevant to WTG manufacturing, supporting the preparation and execution of internal and external audits.
• Identify areas for improvement in current processes and systems, ensuring ISO certification requirements are met and sustained.

Malcolm Baldrige and EFQM Frameworks

• Support the application of the Malcolm Baldrige and EFQM frameworks to guide business excellence initiatives, aligning with industry best practices.
• Assist in benchmarking company performance against industry standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Risk Management and Knowledge Sharing

• Contribute to risk management initiatives, assisting in identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks in WTG manufacturing.
• Support the development and implementation of knowledge management systems to effectively capture and share best practices.

Continuous Improvement and Employee Engagement

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee participation in process improvement activities, such as Kaizen events and Lean Six Sigma projects.
• Facilitate training sessions on business excellence methodologies, ensuring employee engagement and contribution to continuous improvement efforts.

HO Coordination and Reporting

• Coordinate with the Head Office and other departments to ensure consistent application of business excellence initiatives and regular progress reporting to senior management.
• Prepare and present reports on business excellence initiatives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Communication and Presentation Skills

• Use strong communication and presentation skills to convey the goals, progress, and outcomes of business excellence initiatives to various stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on business excellence methodologies and tools, ensuring stakeholder engagement in the continuous improvement process.

Qualifications

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Work Experience

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, ISO standards, process management tools, continuous improvement practices, and employee engagement in quality initiatives.
