Job summary

GE Healthcare invites an accomplished Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of software engineers in building and maintaining applications and frameworks across the release lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities

• Team Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, helping them grow their skills and advance their careers.
• Project Oversight: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and deployment.

• Large Language Models (LLMs) Integration: Integrate LLMs for different use cases, ensuring they meet performance and accuracy requirements.
• Stay updated with advancements in LLMs and apply best practices for their deployment.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for software development.
• Implement testing strategies to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
• Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep the team competitive.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master' s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a software engineering manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong technical background with AI Engineering, Data Engineering, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Python.
• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their integration into AI systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
