Job summary

Karkinos Healthcare in Navi Mumbai is seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts leader to oversee end-to-end accounts payable, tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds an M.Com or MBA (Finance) with 8+ years post-qualification experience, preferably in healthcare, and has proven team leadership. The role focuses on accuracy, compliance, timely closures, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• M.Com or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• Minimum 8 years post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounting leading a team.
• Healthcare sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounts payable activities are completed on time with 100% accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee GST/tax compliance, input credit validation, TDS, vendor reconciliations, and timely payments.
• Drive tax audit u/s 44AB and coordinate with auditors for closure.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly and annual finalization of books as per policies and due dates.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for quarterly limited reviews.
• Complete annual statutory audits with NIL qualification.
• Serve as single point of contact for financial, accounting and audit updates and reports.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• 1. To ensure all accounts payable activities are completed as the agreed TAT with 100% accuracy and compliance adherence that includes - Ensure timely and accurate review of invoices processed by the team, Review GST / tax compliance (input credit validation, TDS, etc.) on invoice processing, oversee vendor reconciliations and timely payments and monitor TAT (Turnaround Time) and reduce backlog.
• 2. To take ownership of direct tax compliance with focus on timely deduction, remittance, quarterly TDS filings and issuance of TDS Certificate.
• 3. To drive Tax Audit by ensuring completion of tax audit (u/s 44AB) within due date, validate form 3CD disclosures and compliance requirements and liaise with auditors for smooth audit closure.
• 4. To ensure company level monthly, quarterly and annual finalization of books of accounts adhering to accountings policies and standards and as per the due date.
• 5. To work with the auditors, both internal and external, to ensure quarterly limited review is completed as per the due date.
• 6. To complete annual statutory audit process as per the agreed timelines ensuring NIL qualification.
• 7. To be the single point of contact for all financial, accounting and audit related updates and reports

Preferred candidate profile

A person who is an M.Com or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute with a minimum of 8 years of post-qualification experience Finance & Accounting function leading a team preferably from healthcare sector will be suitable.
