Job summary

TopGear Consultants Pvt Ltd. in Gujarat seeks a process optimization specialist to enhance consumption of raw materials and utilities while boosting quality, yield and throughput.

You will analyze existing processes and implement improvements across unit operations. The role requires strong knowledge of batch distillation, crystallization, drying, and other unit operations, plus expert chemical calculations.

Qualifications

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of unit operations such as batch distillation, stripping, crystallization, and drying.
• Expert in chemical calculations.
• Proficient in gathering and presenting data.
• Able to learn quickly and deliver results promptly.
• Demonstrated leadership and goal-setting to improve performance.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to implement process improvements from concept through project completion.
• Ability to communicate project updates to stakeholders and develop business cases.
• Experience in green-field plant commissioning is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Drive process optimization to improve consumption of RM and utilities, quality, yield and throughput of products, while improving safety and sustainability of the process.

• Keen insight of production process. And ability to pick up issues before becoming major problems.
• Making continuous improvements and adjustments to maintain efficient operations.

• Facilitate process re-engineering within the site in coordination with relevant stake holders.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various unit operations like batch distillation, stripping, crystallization, drying etc. and various unit processes.

• Candidate should be expert in chemical calculations.
• Candidate should be very good in data gathering and data presentation.
• Candidate should have ability to learn & catch things quickly to deliver in least time.
• Candidate should have Demonstrated leadership skills as well as demonstrated ability to develop goals and actions to improve performance.
• Candidate should have Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvement from concept through project completion {project management skills).
• Communicate to the stake holders on projects and initiatives. Make recommendations for change, involving process redesign and business case development
• Experience in green field plant commissioning will be added advantage.
