Job summary

MRCC is seeking a senior designer to own end-to-end graphic design for enterprise accounts, driving AI-powered tool adoption and advocating best practices across localization and accessibility. You will lead planning, resourcing, and client relations while mentoring junior staff and ensuring high quality deliverables.

The role requires hands-on expertise with AI design tools, eLearning formats, and collaborating with instructional designers to align visuals with pedagogical objectives.

Job description

Job Description:

• Own end-to-end graphic design delivery for enterprise client accounts, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
• Champion modern design trends and drive adoption of AI-powered design tools to automate and accelerate production
• Build and maintain an AI-tool playbook/SOP for the design team approved tools, use cases, and quality-check steps for AI-assisted output
• Ensure AI-generated design assets are reviewed for IP/licensing compliance and brand fit before client delivery
• Track and report efficiency/turnaround gains from AI tool adoption to leadership
• Lead design planning, scheduling, resourcing, and risk management across concurrent projects
• Drive client relationships as primary creative point of contact, managing expectations and escalations
• Review and approve design trackers, and status reports; oversee screen approvals, QA cycles, and sign-offs before development handoff
• Manage vendor/freelance designer engagements, including negotiation and quality oversight
• Mentor and support Assistant/Associate Designers, guiding the team on eLearning visual design and troubleshooting production issues
• Bring working knowledge of eLearning formats (WBT, microlearning, gamified/video-based learning, simulations) to advise clients on the right visual treatment
• Translate client learning objectives into structured visual deliverables, working closely with instructional designers on pedagogical alignment
• Support presales activities with design concepts, mockups, and POCs to help win new business
• Maintain awareness of authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Captivate), LMS platforms, and accessibility standards (WCAG, Section 508)
• Own eLearning-specific quality benchmarks visual consistency, brand adherence, SCORM/functional QA, and localization quality
• Coordinate localization of design assets across multiple languages
• Drive process improvements across the design delivery function and provide leadership with portfolio-level reporting

Required Candidate profile:

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated track record of introducing or scaling AI tools within a design/creative team, with measurable efficiency outcomes
• Must be comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, multi-client delivery environment
• Prior experience managing design teams and mentoring senior/junior design staff preferred
• Hands-on experience with AI design tools is mandatory
