Job summary

Howden in Bengaluru seeks an experienced insurance broker to manage RFQ flow, negotiate premiums with insurers, and ensure end-to-end policy servicing.

You will maintain MIS, prepare presentations, and build strong relationships with insurers; a university degree and insurance qualification are preferred. The role requires completing QCRs within TAT and preparing due diligence reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Property placement experience of 3+ years preferably in Insurance Broking.
• University degree (mandatory) with an appropriate insurance qualification preferred

Responsibilities

• Floating RFQ to insurers & negotiate best premium from them to meet client's expectations.
• Negotiation with insurers on premium quotes & Terms specially in big & medium sized proposals.
• Ensuring smooth function of policies to be serviced including endorsements.
• Ensure submission of QCR within TAT.
• Preparing service presentation based on the coverage's shared by business.
• Relationship with key people in the insurance companies
• Preparing Due Diligence report wherever necessary.
• Quality Control of Policy Documents of RFQs.
• Maintain MIS, internal SOPs for the function.
