Job summary

BuildxPartners in India is seeking a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join a dynamic team developing next‑generation applications for global life sciences customers. You will design, deploy, and optimize machine learning models that drive data‑driven decisions and value realization across multiple business units.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with product managers and domain experts, and contribute to GenAI, NLP, CV, and predictive analytics initiatives while aligning with DevOps

Qualifications

• 4+ years of AI/ML engineering experience with scalable projects.
• Strong expertise in Causal AI, RL, GenAI, NLP, CV, Sequential Models, or Dimensionality Reduction.
• Proven track record deploying ML models in real-world environments.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and DevOps practices (CI/CD).
• Proficient in Python, Scala, Go, Rust or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy ML solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and domain experts to identify AI/ML opportunities.
• Develop production-grade ML models for customer experience, recommendations, content generation, and analytics.
• Monitor and improve model performance via data enhancement, feature engineering, and experiments.
• Stay updated with AI/ML advancements and mentor junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems and deliver measurable value (revenue, engagement, customer satisfaction).
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and domain experts to identify AI/ML opportunities that improve process efficiency.
• Develop production-grade ML models for use cases such as customer experience enhancement, recommendation systems, content generation, and predictive analytics.
• Monitor and continuously improve model performance through data enhancement, feature engineering, experimentation, and evaluation.
• Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML and contribute to innovation within the life sciences domain.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with exposure to complex, scalable projects.
  
• Strong expertise in one or more areas: Causal AI, Reinforcement Learning, Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, Sequential Models, or Dimensionality Reduction.
  
• Proven experience in building, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models in real-world environments.
  
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and DevOps practices (CI/CD, deployment tools, etc.).
  
• Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, Go, Rust, or similar languages.
  
• Experience with MLOps tools such as Kubeflow or MLflow.
  
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
  
• Exposure to GenAI tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, and vector databases.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Experience in the life sciences domain is a plus.
  
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field preferred.
