Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Senior Liferay Developer with 6+ years of Liferay experience to design and implement portals using Liferay 7.4 and related technologies. The role involves delivering portal solutions, mentoring developers, and creating custom components, extensions, and collaboration/workflow features.

The candidate should possess deep front-end skills (HTML, CSS, SCSS, JavaScript, YAML) and be capable of technical assessments and documentation for custom Liferay

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in Liferay
• Experience in design and development of portal using Liferay out of box portlets, Liferay MVC portlets, Spring MVC portlets, Struts portlets
• Experience in custom development
• Experience in developing extensions and custom components
• Experience developing collaboration, workflow and forms
• Ability to do technical assessment of custom development requirements
• Ability to provide technical solutions with detailed documentation
• Frontend tech stack includes Liferay 7.4+, Objects, Fragments, Client Extensions (ALL), HTML, SCSS, CSS, JS/JQuery/ES, YAML, OSGI Modules for Liferay customization, Themes

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Liferay portal architectures using OOTB
• Guide and provide directions to the developers
• Should have delivered Liferay portals in previous assignments
• Design and develop Liferay 7.4+ applications
