Qualifications

• LLB/LLM from a recognized university.
• 10–18+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in corporate law, contracts, compliance, and litigation.
• Prior leadership experience in managing legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to senior management on business decisions, risk mitigation, and compliance

3. Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA)
• Oversee compliance with:
• Local municipal laws
• Environmental regulations
• Stamp duty and registration laws

4. Contract Management

• Draft, vet, and negotiate:
• Joint Development Agreements (JDA)
• Lease Agreements
• Vendor and contractor contracts
• Ensure legally sound documentation to minimize risk

5. Litigation Management

• Handle civil, criminal, and regulatory cases
• Liaise with external legal counsel and represent the company when required
• Manage dispute resolution, arbitration, and settlements
• Coordinate with government authorities, regulatory bodies and legal institutions
• Manage approvals, licenses, and legal documentation
• Lead and mentor the legal team
• Manage external law firms and consultants
• Build internal legal processes and governance frameworks

Strong knowledge of:

Educational Qualification & Experience
