Airtel in Gurgaon is seeking a Senior Lead Software Developer (Backend) to contribute to a team building high-quality software applications and to deliver exceptional customer experiences at scale. You will mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions for backend services.

The role requires 7-9 years of experience with a focus on Java and backend technologies, delivering robust solutions and aligning with best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java and NoSQL database technologies.
• Experience with caching stores and messaging/queuing systems.
• Familiar with version control tools (SVN or Git) and Kafka.
• Strong CS fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms.
• Knowledge of design patterns and scalable architecture for large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience building large-scale systems.

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards. Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget. Provide third-level support to business users. Research and evaluate a variety of software products.

Experience & Skills

Skills Required

• Proficient in at least one of the object-oriented programming languages such as Java of No-SQL Database technologies, Caching data stores, Queuing systems and Search technologies.
• Experience with version control tools (SVN or Git) & Kafka MQs.
• Proficiency in Computer Science fundamentals – object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm - design, and complexity analysis

Educational Qualifications
