Job summary

Fyerx is seeking a Senior Lead - ServiceNow SAM & HAM to drive software and hardware asset management initiatives. You will lead SAM/HAM implementations, configure ITAM capabilities, manage license reconciliation, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions.

The role requires hands‑on SAM/HAM experience, strong ITAM understanding, and the ability to work in a remote India setup with AP shift timing. 6‑month contract with potential for extensions exists.

Qualifications

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead - ServiceNow SAM & HAM with strong expertise in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM), software and hardware asset lifecycle processes, platform configuration, and solution delivery.

The consultant will be responsible for supporting SAM and HAM implementations, managing platform enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical and functional guidance to project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) implementation and enhancement activities.

Configure and support ServiceNow ITAM capabilities covering software and hardware asset lifecycles.

Manage software asset tracking, license management, reconciliation, and compliance-related processes.

Support hardware asset management processes, including procurement, inventory, allocation, maintenance, and disposal.

Design and optimize asset management workflows and automation.

Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions.

Provide technical and functional guidance to ServiceNow SAM/HAM team members.

Support integrations between ServiceNow ITAM and other enterprise applications.

Troubleshoot complex SAM/HAM configuration and production issues.

Identify opportunities to improve software license utilization, asset visibility, and process efficiency.

Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, and ongoing platform enhancements.

Maintain functional and technical documentation.

Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow platform standards and recommended practices.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of total and relevant experience in ServiceNow, with strong hands‑on knowledge of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).

Strong understanding of ServiceNow IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Experience configuring and implementing ServiceNow SAM and HAM solutions.

Knowledge of software asset lifecycle management, software license management, and compliance processes.

Experience supporting hardware asset lifecycle processes, inventory, and asset tracking.

Understanding of ServiceNow platform configuration, customization, and workflow automation.

Experience troubleshooting SAM/HAM-related functional and technical issues.

Ability to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.

Experience providing technical guidance and coordinating with implementation teams.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro and HAM Pro.

Knowledge of software license reconciliation, normalization, and optimization.

Exposure to ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery.

Experience integrating ServiceNow ITAM with external asset management systems.

Knowledge of ServiceNow Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Experience leading enterprise‑scale ServiceNow ITAM projects.

Additional Requirements

Availability to work the AP shift from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM IST.
