Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for Traffic Surveillance products.

• Support DAL-B compliant airborne software verification and certification activities.
• Participate in design reviews, code inspections, and peer review activities.

• Troubleshoot build, integration, and deployment issues and investigate defects.
• Gain/maintain government security clearance if applicable.

• Develop common engineering tools and automation frameworks to support software development and verification activities.
• Execute unit, integration, and system-level testing for embedded avionics software.
• Support the development and verification of DAL-B compliant airborne software.
• Participate in requirements reviews, software design reviews, code inspections, and peer review activities.
• Collaborate with systems, software, hardware, and verification teams to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Support certification activities, audits, and compliance reviews.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot software build, integration, and deployment issues.
• Analyze software defects, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
• 4–9 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong programming experience in C++ and Python.
• Experience developing software on VxWorks/Wind River operating systems.
• Experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, coding, integration, testing, and verification.
• Experience with hardware-software integration and board‑level debugging.
• Hands‑on experience with Git, Visual Studio, and software development tools.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain any required government security clearance, if applicable.
• Must be authorized to work in the country of employment without current or future employer sponsorship.
