Job summary

Quest Global is seeking a senior database engineering professional in Bengaluru to architect and maintain scalable data storage for large distributed systems. You will ensure data integrity, review designs by scrum teams, and document ERDs while collaborating with IT for lifecycle management.

Strong AWS experience and leadership are essential. The role requires 11–13 years of experience, expertise in Oracle/PostgreSQL, ETL with Pentaho/Informatica, and Unix scripting, with flexibility to work

Qualifications

• 11 to 13 years of experience in designing and maintaining large database systems.
• Expert in Relational database technology (Oracle, Postgres).
• Experience in developing ETL dataflows (Pentaho/Informatica).
• Maintain ERD and relevant documents, and manage cloud solutions (AWS).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams; Unix shell scripting.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership to drive initiatives; flexible to work from Quest or customer offices.

Qualification / Requirements

• 11 to 13 years of experience in designing and maintaining large database systems, including database optimization and implementation of new database features/upgrades for increases in performance.
• Expert in Relational database technology (preferably Oracle, Postgres)
• Experienced in developing ETL dataflows using Pentaho/Informatica
• Maintain ERD and all other relevant documents.
• Experienced in building and implementing solutions on cloud (preferably AWS).
• Experienced in development with Agile methodology and working with scrum teams.
• Experienced in working with Unix systems and shell scripting.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity.
• Leadership qualities to drive and deliver things proactively
• Flexible to work from Quest and/or customer office as needed
