Job summary

Epam Systems is seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer (Senior SE/Lead 8+ years) to design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. You will lead automation efforts, IaC, and container orchestration with AKS, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve deployment reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and managing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform IaC for cloud resources.
• Experience deploying and operating containerized apps on AKS.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking and cloud security practices.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control and collaboration.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Build and optimize Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests, and deployments.
• Develop and manage IaC using Terraform.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps on AKS.
• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages.
• Implement monitoring/logging with Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus.
• Ensure cloud security via RBAC, Key Vault, and security best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to Azure infra, Kubernetes, networking, and CI/CD.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to improve deployment automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices.
