Role Description The Senior Landscape Architect will lead the planning, design, and execution of landscape and urban open space projects, ensuring high-quality, sustainable, and context-appropriate solutions. This full-time, on-site role is based in Pune and involves overseeing project concepts, preparing detailed drawings and planting plans, and guiding the development of construction documentation. The role includes coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and consultants, presenting design proposals, and managing project timelines and deliverables. The Senior Landscape Architect will mentor junior team members, review design work, and help maintain GSA’s design standards and best practices. The position also requires staying current with industry trends, local regulations, and sustainable design principles.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Landscape Architecture and Landscape Design, with a portfolio demonstrating complex project work with min 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in Landscape Planning and Landscaping, including site analysis, grading concepts, and outdoor space programming.
• Ability to develop detailed Planting Plans, with knowledge of plant species, local ecology, and maintenance considerations.
• Degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
• Proficiency in design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or BIM tools, Adobe Creative Suite, and relevant 3D/visualization tools).
• Experience managing projects end-to-end, including client coordination, consultant collaboration, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainable design, climate-responsive solutions, and local regulatory compliance.
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior designers and contributing to internal design reviews.
