Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior JavaScript Automation Test Engineer to improve product accuracy by leading testers and standardizing robust automation practices. You will define test approaches, automate UI and API coverage with modern JS tools, and continuously enhance the automation framework.

The role focuses on mentoring testers, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and developing comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of automation testing experience with a strong emphasis on JavaScript.
• Hands-on expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript backed by 4–6 years of practical use.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience in a QA/testing context.
• Proficiency in UI Automation tools such as Playwright, Mocha and Chai.
• Familiarity with Jest, Puppeteer and Cypress.
• Experience in Web Service and API Test Automation, including test cases and test automation frameworks.
• Understanding of WebDriver I/O for UI testing.
• B2+ English proficiency (Upper-Intermediate).
