Job description

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you’ll build and maintain a polyglot backend powering a real estate intelligence platform — Java microservices for core business data, a Node.js API gateway for AI integrations, and PostgreSQL for everything in between.

Key Responsibilities:

• Java Spring Boot microservices with JPA/Hibernate and RESTful APIs
• Node.js/TypeScript Express server handling AI streaming (AWS Bedrock), S3 media, and third-party proxying
• PostgreSQL schema design and Flyway migrations across a multi-service architecture
• AWS infrastructure: ECS Fargate, CloudFront, ALB, Secrets Manager, IAM, RDS
• CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) building Docker images and deploying to ECS

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Experience Java Backend with Spring Boot.
• PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization, migrations.
• AWS — ECS/Fargate, IAM roles/policies, CloudFront/ALB, Secrets Manager.
• Docker and GitHub Actions.
• CI/CD
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and tools like Jira or Azure Boards.
• Experience working within enterprise frameworks and release procedures.
• Familiarity with development environments, staging, and production workflows.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
