Delaplex in India is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to build scalable enterprise applications using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will design microservices, implement REST APIs, and work across multiple client engagements to deliver robust solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on backend development, database design, and messaging with RabbitMQ, with a focus on production-grade delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience delivering applications into live production environments.
• Hands-on backend development with Kotlin/Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with Angular frontend is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and Java (Spring Boot).
• Develop and enhance RESTful microservices following industry best practices.
• Build and maintain Angular (v12+) web applications.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database transactions.
• Implement messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Work independently across multiple client projects while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Support production deployments, including planned off-hours release windows aligned with US time zones.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, and RabbitMQ to build scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience developing production‑grade backend services, designing microservices, and working across multiple client engagements.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin and Java (Spring Boot).
• Develop and enhance RESTful microservices following industry best practices.
• Build and maintain Angular (v12+) web applications.
• Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database transactions.
• Implement messaging solutions using RabbitMQ.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.

Backend Development

• Strong production experience with Kotlin.
• Excellent hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of:
• REST APIs

• Spring Configuration & Profiles
• JPA/Hibernate
• JDBC

Database

• Strong SQL expertise, including:
• Complex query writing
• Stored Procedures
• Transactions
• Query optimization
• Execution plan analysis and performance tuning

Messaging

• Hands‑on experience with RabbitMQ, including:
• Messaging patterns
• Exchanges and routing
• Message acknowledgements
• Dead‑letter queues (DLQ)
• Retry mechanisms

Frontend

• Experience developing and maintaining Angular applications (v12+).
• Strong understanding of:
• Components
• Services
• RxJS
• Reactive Forms

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently across multiple client engagements.
• Willingness to participate in planned off‑hours production deployments supporting US time zones.
