Job summary

Tarento seeks a Senior Software Engineer - Java to design and develop scalable integration services using Kotlin or Java and REST APIs. You will build and maintain ACL services and adapters, transforming data between legacy formats and the canonical model, and shaping the API layer.

Candidates should be proficient in Spring Boot or Quarkus, JSON/XML transformations, and messaging concepts, with Git/CI/CD experience and a readiness to learn Apache Camel and EIP concepts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and OOP/FP concepts.
• Experience building REST APIs with Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Familiarity with JSON/XML data transformation and schema validation.
• Basic understanding of messaging concepts (pub/sub, queues, topics).
• Comfortable with Git, PR workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Willingness to learn Apache Camel and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Should be an excellent communicator.
