Position: Senior Java Developer / Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities

1. Healthcare Platform Development

• Design and develop scalable healthcare applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Build backend services and REST APIs for patient management, clinical records and workflows.
• Ensure application performance, security, reliability and scalability.
• Translate clinical requirements into technical solutions.

2. Healthcare Interoperability & Integration

• Integrate hospital systems, EHR/EMR platforms and healthcare applications.
• Implement HL7 FHIR and HL7 v2 standards.
• Work with HAPI FHIR and FHIR-based APIs.
• Develop healthcare data mapping, transformation and integration services.
• Integrate laboratory systems and medical device platforms.

3. Clinical Workflows & Protocol Management

• Develop configurable clinical workflows and treatment protocols.
• Implement workflow orchestration using Camunda, Flowable or Temporal.
• Build business rules, approvals and clinical decision-support services.
• Ensure workflow traceability and auditability.

4. Real-Time Data Processing

• Develop event-driven services for medical device data and clinical events.
• Work with Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT and WebSockets.
• Process and manage real-time clinical observations and time-series data.
• Integrate medical device connectivity platforms.

5. Security & Compliance

• Implement authentication, authorisation and role-based access.
• Maintain audit trails for clinical data and activities.
• Follow secure coding practices and healthcare data protection requirements.
• Support application monitoring, reliability and disaster recovery.

6. Technical Leadership

• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
• Conduct code reviews and guide developers.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, product and clinical teams.
• Support CI/CD, automated testing and production deployments.

Core Java Technologies
