Job summary

DXC Technology in Bengaluru (Bangalore) is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a hybrid role. You will build and maintain Java applications using Spring, Hibernate and microservices architecture, while driving code quality through reviews and mentoring junior developers.

The position requires 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, strong SQL skills across multiple databases, and expertise in RESTful services, Git, and Agile practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java application development.
• Can perform code reviews and mentor the team.
• Proficient in Java 8/11+, Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Strong Hibernate/JPA, RESTful APIs and JSON handling.
• Strong SQL development experience across Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• SQL query optimization, indexing and performance tuning.
• Git version control, JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
