Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a Sr Java Developer - Tech Lead to lead backend design and development of Java/J2EE systems. This role focuses on Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, microservices, and payment integrations, with a strong emphasis on performance, security, and scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10–14 years in Java/J2EE with 3+ years in Technical Lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale distributed systems.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices.
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL and performance tuning.
• Exposure to cloud platforms; Docker/Kubernetes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with business teams, architects, QA, DevOps, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, payment service integrations, and enterprise applications supporting Money platforms.
• Drive technical design discussions, code reviews, coding standards, and development best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Mentor and guide developers, providing technical leadership and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze and resolve complex production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system stability challenges.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and reliability for high-volume transaction processing systems.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding standards, API security practices, and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with QA and operations teams to support testing, deployments, and production releases.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technology roadmaps, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-14 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development, with at least 3+ years in a Technical Lead role.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL.
• Experience in designing and developing enterprise-scale applications and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture principles, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Exposure to CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Experience in Digital Payments, Mobile Wallets, FinTech, Banking, or Telecom Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.
• Preferred Domain Experience: Mobile Wallets, Payments, Remittance, Merchant Payments, QR Payments, Banking Integrations, eKYC, and Digital Financial Services.
