Job summary

MaxRidge Private Limited is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our growing technology team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications, and work on RESTful APIs and microservices in a remote setting.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, with strong knowledge of Spring Boot, REST, microservices, SQL databases, and Git. You will collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams and contribute to code reviews in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Proficiency in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Strong REST APIs and microservices knowledge.
• Experience with SQL databases and relational modeling.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile practices.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is optional.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in Core Java
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot & Spring Framework
• Strong understanding of REST APIs & Microservices
• Experience with Java 8+, Collections, Multithreading & Exception Handling
• Good knowledge of SQL/relational databases
• Experience with Kafka / Redis is a plus
• Understanding of Spring Security and authentication/authorization
• Experience with Git and Agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools is an added advantage
