CRISIL is looking for a highly motivated Senior Java developer for global investment banking clients to work on the technology transformation agenda for their Front Office (FO) Risk Systems. You would be a part of the Technology Risk teams, partnering with business and guiding the development of innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Java developer, you will be responsible for:

• Participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.
• Contribute to application systems analysis and programming activities.

Qualifications

Must Have

• Core Java, with Java 1.8 as the minimum requirement; current work is on Java 17/21.
• Proficiency in OOP, Collections, and Exception Handling.
• Extensive knowledge of multithreading.
• Experience in inter-service communication for various applications.
• Z-MQ used for TCP-related communication; HTTP channels open for communication in Python.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in caching – managing process memory and temp directory refills to ensure the latest copy is always accessible.
• Experience working in distributed messaging environments.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Python would be a plus.
• Ideally, experience with Quartz (though this can be learned if not already known).
• Familiarity with the React JS tech stack.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
• Low latency expertise.
