Job summary

Acesoft Labs is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Bengaluru to lead backend engineering using Java, J2EE, and Spring Boot. You will build scalable RESTful services, leverage NoSQL like MongoDB, and containerize with Docker/Kubernetes for cloud deployments on Azure.

Strong problem solving and participation in Agile ceremonies are expected. 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, expertise in Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and REST APIs, with optional Angular exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot).
• Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Familiarity with microservices design patterns and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Exposure to frontend tech such as Angular is a plus.

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with a strong development background (minimum 5 years), focused on backend engineering using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with NoSQL databases (preferably MongoDB), containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud environments (preferably Azure).

Exposure to frontend technologies such as Angular is a plus. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, J2EE and Spring Boot.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Implement data access layers using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
• Work with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB, to handle large-scale data.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Experience on ArgoCD (good to have)
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms like Azure.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Optionally contribute to frontend development using Angular and TypeScript.
• Required Skills and Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience (Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot).
• Strong understanding of Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks.
• Proficiency in NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on at least one cloud provider (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with microservices design patterns and best practices.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs and JSON.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
