Zusammenfassung

Clarivate Plc is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java Backend to join our IP Content team in India. You will build scalable backend services using Java 11+, Spring Boot, and microservice architecture, collaborating across squads to deliver high-quality patent data processing solutions.

You will work on RESTful microservices, databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and AWS serverless resources, while participating in CI/CD with Jira/Jenkins and Maven/Gradle.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience with Java 11+, Spring Boot, microservice architecture, AWS cloud.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design patterns.
• Experience in developing RESTful Microservices.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience using AWS serverless resources (Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, S3).
• Experience with Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, Bitbucket.
• Exposure to Linux shell scripting.
• Client-side tools & frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

Senior Software Engineer - Java We are looking for Senior Software Engineer- Java Backend who should be passionate about software development and technology, have demonstrable technical and problem-solving skills. The candidate will show a clear understanding of development trends and a broad understanding of development paradigms. They will have excellent organizational skills, good knowledge of the full software development life cycle.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 Years of relevant experience technologies like Java 11+, File I/O, Multi-Threading, Collections, Spring Boot, micro service architecture, AWS cloud.
• Good Understanding on Object-oriented software design patterns.
• Experience in developing RESTful Microservices.
• Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, particularly MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience using AWS serverless resources, including but not limited to Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, S3.
• Worked on Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, bitbucket.
• It would be great if you also had . . .
• Exposure to Linux Shell scripting.
• Working with continuous integration and continuous development environments.
• Client-side tools & frameworks: Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.

What will you be doing in this role?

About the Team

You will be working as part of IP Content team wherein your focus would be to process and deliver high quality patent data from multiple input source formats. We have multiple squads each consists of Software Engineers, Testers, Lead and Release Manager.

Hours of Work

This is permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break.
