Job summary

UJA Global Advisory in India is seeking a compliance and controls professional to monitor financial activities, ensure statutory compliance, and strengthen internal controls. You will review data entry in the PM Tool, conduct revenue, expenditure, and process audits, and implement audit recommendations.

You will coordinate with departments for closure of observations, monitor PF, GST, TDS, ESIC, and related filings, and prepare audit reports with management recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting, auditing, GST, TDS, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Tally, and ERP systems.
• Good analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Good aptitude for systems and processes in IT enabled environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor data entry in the Project Monitoring (PM) Tool to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Conduct ongoing audits of revenue, expenditure, and operational processes to assess compliance and control effectiveness.
• Identify control gaps and recommend improvements to systems and processes in internal controls.
• Perform ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and transaction reviews.
• Coordinate with departments for closure of audit observations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with PF, PT, ESIC, TDS, GST, and related returns and statutory filings.
• Prepare audit reports, observations, and management recommendations.
• Support process reviews and compliance audits to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
