HNine Designs, a luxury interior and architectural design firm based in Mumbai, seeks a Senior Interior Designer to lead end-to-end design for high-end residential and commercial projects. You will handle concept development, space planning, construction drawings, materials specification, and FF&E, coordinating with architects, contractors and vendors.

Based in Mira Bhayandar or Mumbai, this is a full-time, on-site role.

Partner and visionary designer Neha Mudaliar helped transform the firm into HNine designs, now recognized as one of Mumbai’s top interior design and architecture practices. The team works on projects across India, focusing on refined aesthetics, strong functionality, and meticulous attention to detail. Candidates joining HNine designs will collaborate on distinctive, high-profile interiors and architectural works.

Role Description

The Senior Interior Designer will lead end-to-end design for luxury residential and commercial projects, from concept development through final execution. Responsibilities include client consultations, detailed space planning, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, specifying materials and FF&E, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors. The role involves guiding junior designers, ensuring design quality, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. The Senior Interior Designer will also participate in site visits, design reviews, and on-site problem solving to ensure high standards of craftsmanship and design integrity. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mira Bhayandar.

*THE CANDIDATE MUST BE BASED OUT OF MUMBAI OR MIRA BHAYANDER REGION. NO FREELANCERS ARE NEEDED.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Interior Design and FF&E selection, with a focus on luxury residential and commercial projects.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and Architecture coordination to create functional, aesthetic, and code-compliant designs.
• Ability to develop and review detailed Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and approvals.
• Advanced skills in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in a senior or lead design role, preferably in high-end or luxury projects.
• Strong project management, vendor coordination, and on-site supervision capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills, client-facing experience, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
