Job summary

Smruthi Gowda Infrastructure is seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Design Team Lead in Bengaluru to drive concept design, space planning, and layout development. You will prepare 2D drawings, assist with 3D models, and guide the design team through inspections and revisions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, vendors, and clients, updating drawings, and ensuring quality standards across 2D and 3D outputs.

• Senior Interior Designer / Design Team Lead.
• Assist senior designers in concept design, space planning, and layout development
• Prepare 2D drawings including floor plans, furniture layouts, and basic working drawings.
• Support in creating 3D models and visualizations using Sketch-up, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
• Work on material, finish, laminate, and color selections as per design requirements.
• Coordinate with senior designers, team leads, and project managers for design updates.
• Make design revisions based on internal reviews, client feedback, and site conditions.
• Assist in preparing BOQs, specifications, and design presentations.
• Support site visits for measurements and understanding execution details.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and production teams for clarifications and drawing support.
• Ensure 2D and 3D drawing consistency and compliance with company standards
• Maintain proper documentation, drawing records, and version control
• Follow project timelines and support the team in meeting deadlines
• Learn and adhere to company design processes and quality standards
• Guide, review, and mentor junior designers and team members
• Attend site and factory visits to resolve design and execution issues.
• Any other Work allocated/ assigned by the Higher Management.
