Job summary

Tekman India is seeking an experienced engineer to prepare P&IDs and operation philosophies for PLC programming after studying customer requirements. You will handle installation, commissioning, and site activities for complex systems, and support FAT/SAT with Quality and Site teams.

You will evaluate equipment issues, calibrate process and field instruments, provide online technical support, and prepare project documentation such as BOM and FAT reports to ensure timely completion of

Qualifications

• Strong experience in preparing P&IDs.
• Hands-on installation, commissioning, and site activities.
• Experience supporting FAT and SAT with Quality and Site teams.
• Experience calibrating process/field instruments and validation.
• Good customer interaction and online technical support skills.
• Experience preparing and handling project documentation (BOM, FAT reports, open-point closure reports, Design Approval Documents).
• Ability to maintain good relationships with customers and coordinate during project execution.

• Prepare P&IDs and operation philosophies for PLC programming after an in-depth study of customer requirements.
• Handle installation, commissioning, and site activities for complex systems.
• Provide support to the Quality and Site teams for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Evaluate and resolve equipment-related issues on the equipment/s while maintaining good relationships with customers.
• Perform calibration of all process and field instruments and carry out validation of instruments/equipment in the related areas.
• Handle regular customer interactions, provide online technical support, and ensure timely attention to customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Prepare and handle all project-related documentation, including BOM, FAT reports, open-point closure reports, Design Approval Documents, etc.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong experience in preparing P&IDs.
• Hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, and site activities for complex systems.
• Experience in supporting Quality and Site teams during FAT and SAT.
• Experience in calibration of process and field instruments and validation of instruments/equipment.
• Good customer interaction and communication skills, with the ability to provide online technical support and timely address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests.
• Experience in preparing and handling project related documentation, including BOM, FAT reports, open-point closure reports, and Design Approval Documents.
• Ability to maintain good relationships with customers and coordinate effectively during project execution.
