Job summary

Morningstar is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise-wide identity and access management across Okta and Microsoft platforms. The role requires collaboration with multiple teams in an Agile environment and a hands-on approach to implementing secure IAM solutions.

You will work with Okta SSO, OIG, and Workflows, plus Active Directory and Entra AD, while contributing to project delivery, documentation, and user training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
• 2+ years of Okta SSO and Lifecycle management.
• 2+ years of Okta OIG.
• 2+ Years of Okta Workflows.
• 5+ years of Active Directory in a complex environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Active Directory Group Policies.
• 1+ years of Entra AD experience.
• 1+ years with application proxies – preferably Azure Proxy.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must be a self-starter and able to work independently in a fast-changing environment.
• Basic PowerShell scripting is a must.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Server.

Responsibilities

• Manage Okta SSO, OIG, and Workflows across the enterprise.
• Handle Joiner/Leaver/Mover processes for employees.
• Administer Corporate Active Directory Domains and Azure AD modules.
• Plan, develop, and deliver projects related to identity and access management.
• Create and update documentation and knowledge articles.
• Provide knowledge transfer and user training during deployments.
• Act as second-line support for escalations and incidents.
• Respond to incidents and alerts as required.
• Follow tasks from inception to completion.
• Support Employee Experience initiatives.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge identity technologies.

The Role: The Senior IAM Engineer is responsible for enterprise-wide identity and access management across both Microsoft and Okta platforms. Required

• 2+ years of Okta SSO and Lifecycle management
• 2+ years of Okta OIG
• 2+ Years of Okta Workflows
• 5+ years of relevant experience using Active Directory in a complex environment
• In depth knowledge of Active Directory Group Policies
• 1+ years of experience Entra AD
• 1+ years of experience working with application proxies – preferably Azure Proxy
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Must be a self-starter and able to work alone in a fast-changing environment
• Basic PowerShell scripting is a must
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Certificate Server
