Job summary

Haparz in Bengaluru (Bangalore) seeks a Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect for a hybrid role on a CW contract. The candidate will assess, modernize, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across on-premises and AWS cloud, delivering scalable, resilient, and secure solutions.

Requirements include 10+ years in enterprise infrastructure, 5+ years AWS experience, and strong knowledge of OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, Oracle, and IaC tools.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure architecture or engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise in hybrid cloud and enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with AWS services: EC2, Auto Scaling, IAM, EBS, EFS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, AWS Backup.
• Strong knowledge of VMware, Linux, Windows Server, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Assess enterprise infrastructure environments across on-premises and AWS cloud platforms.
• Evaluate current-state infrastructure and recommend modernization roadmaps.
• Review compute, virtualization, storage, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and operational infrastructure.
• Analyze AWS environments for scalability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
• Assess OpenShift, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Oracle platform architectures.
• Identify infrastructure risks, resiliency gaps, technology debt, and operational improvements.
• Review infrastructure security, governance, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, operations, security, and executive stakeholders.
• Conduct infrastructure maturity assessments, gap analysis, and cloud transformation recommendations.
• Review infrastructure automation practices using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Prepare architecture documentation, assessment reports, and executive presentations.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Infrastructure & Cloud Architect to assess, modernize, and optimize enterprise infrastructure environments across hybrid cloud and on-premises platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in AWS, enterprise infrastructure, cloud transformation, and infrastructure assessments while working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of enterprise infrastructure architecture or engineering experience.

• Experience evaluating OpenShift and Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Experience assessing Kafka platform architecture and operational management.
• Knowledge of Oracle infrastructure including Data Guard, replication, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, observability, logging, and operational support.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure security, hardening, patch management, encryption, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation) and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, analytical, and presentation skills
