ZS Associates is seeking an Associate Consultant – Information Protection (Endpoint Security) to join the IT Information Security team in Pune. You will design, implement, and optimize security platforms and controls, focusing on endpoint security and data protection while minimizing impact on users.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with EDR, DLP, data classification, and security tooling, plus a collaboration-focused mindset to work with cross-functional stakeholders and stay ahead

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Endpoint Security and Data Security
• Hands-on with tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Zscaler, BeyondTrust and Microsoft Purview
• Fluency in English

Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance endpoint security and data protection capabilities across environments.
• Implement and optimize security platforms and controls (EDR, Proxy, DLP, data classification).

• Stay current with emerging threats and security trends and recommend improvements.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, and implementation guides.

Associate Consultant – Information Protection (Endpoint Security)

The Senior Information Protection Analyst will be part of the ZS IT Information Security team in Pune. As a Senior Information Protection Analyst, you will be responsible for enhancing the organization's Data Security and Endpoint Security capabilities by designing, implementing and optimizing security platforms and controls. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in endpoint security technologies and a good understanding of Data security solutions. You will work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to implement and enhance security capabilities while ensuring minimal impact on the end‑user experience. Additionally, you will stay up to date with emerging technologies, security trends, and vendor capabilities, and recommend improvements to strengthen the security posture of ZS infrastructure and applications.

What you'll do: Senior Information Protection Analyst in the Enterprise will…

• Manage and enhance below suite of capabilities across different environments
• Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) – CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint – endpoint threat detection, investigation, and response.
• Network Proxy Solutions – Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) – secure internet access and web traffic control.
• Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) – BeyondTrust – privileged access and least‑privilege management.
• Data Protection – Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), and Insider Threat Management – Zscaler / Microsoft Purview.
• Data Lifecycle Management – BigID, Microsoft (MS) Purview, etc. – data discovery, classification, retention, and deletion.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML, AI‑driven automation, AI risk assessment, and Agentic AI, with an understanding of applying AI to security use cases and process automation.
• Evaluate and implement new endpoint security capabilities to improve the organization's security posture
• Drive endpoint hardening, application control, privilege management, and secure web access.
• Improve DLP detection logic, policy effectiveness, and data classification controls to reduce false positives.
• Perform product evaluations, proof of concepts (POCs), and technology assessments for new security solutions.
• Review vendor roadmaps and recommend new features, best practices, and platform improvements.
• Develop technical documentation, standards, and implementation guides for security platforms.
• Stay current with emerging threats, security technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
• Scripting or automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages are a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in Endpoint Security and Data Security
• Strong knowledge of industry‑leading endpoint security concepts (EDR, Proxy, Data Loss Prevention, Data Classification)
• Hands‑on with tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Zscaler, BeyondTrust and Microsoft Purview
• Demonstrated experience in investigating and responding to security incidents
• Demonstrated experience in building and supporting endpoint and data protection processes to drive compliance
• Fluency in English
