Job summary

Simeio is seeking an IAM IGA Consultant with strong Java experience to design, implement, and support enterprise IGA solutions across the full lifecycle. You will build integrations, workflows, and connectors to enhance governance and secure identity lifecycle management.

The role requires deep knowledge of RBAC, entitlement management, and policy enforcement, with hands-on Java development and experience integrating with AD, cloud platforms, and HR systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on IGA consulting, implementation, or support.
• 5+ years of Java backend development and system integrations.
• Experience with SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, or similar.
• Strong LDAP/AD, IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions, including user identity and access lifecycle management, RBAC, entitlement management, and policy enforcement.
• Analyze and define business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
• Configure and customize IGA platforms according to business and security requirements.

• Develop and implement Java-based solutions to support and extend IGA platform capabilities.
• Build custom connectors and integrations between IGA solutions and enterprise applications using Java frameworks and libraries.
• Write, test, and maintain Java code to ensure reliable integration and functionality across multiple systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Java-based integrations, connectors, and workflows.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand identity governance requirements and provide guidance on industry best practices.
• Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on identity governance, access management, and security practices.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for IGA solutions, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and upgrades.
• Ensure IGA solutions adhere to security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement governance controls, access policies, and audit requirements.

About the Role:

The IAM IGA Consultant with Java Experience is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves working across the entire lifecycle of IGA solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, system integration, configuration, testing, deployment, and ongoing support. The consultant will leverage strong Java development expertise to build custom integrations, workflows, and connectors that enhance governance capabilities and support secure identity lifecycle management across enterprise environments.

What You Bring:

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) consulting, implementation, or support.


• Strong experience implementing and supporting enterprise identity governance solutions.


• 5+ years of Java development experience focused on backend development and system integrations.


• Deep understanding of identity and access management concepts, including RBAC, user lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, entitlement management, and governance controls.


• Experience working with Identity Governance platforms such as SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, or similar solutions.


• Strong experience integrating identity solutions with enterprise applications, directories, databases, and cloud platforms.


• Proficiency in Java development, including frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and J2EE.


• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP/REST web services, and third‑party system integrations.


• Strong knowledge of LDAP, Active Directory, IAM protocols including SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.


• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server.


• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.


• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with cloud identity and access management solutions.


• Knowledge of scripting technologies such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or BeanShell.


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


• Understanding of access certification campaigns, segregation of duties (SoD), and identity governance reporting.


• Relevant certifications in Identity and Access Management, Java, Cloud Technologies, or Information Security.
