Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an experienced ICM Rule and Advanced Workflow Developer to support our SAP-based incentive compensation platform. You will configure calculation rules, build scalable workflows, implement multi-step approvals, ensure accurate payouts, and maintain governance and compliance throughout compensation processing.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Finance, and IT.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain complex incentive compensation calculation rules within SAP.
• Translate plan documents into system logic including rate tables, tiered curves, accelerators, thresholds, caps, and clawbacks.
• Develop eligibility and crediting rules based on role, hierarchy, territory, and business unit.
• Support compensation cycles including accruals, adjustments, and final payouts.
• Troubleshoot calculation discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Validate inbound data from HR, Finance, and operational systems.
• Design and configure multi-step approval workflows for plan assignments, exceptions, and manual adjustments.
• Implement conditional routing based on business attributes and compensation structures.
• Configure automated notifications and escalation triggers.
• Ensure workflows align with internal control and compliance requirements.
• Improve process efficiency by reducing manual intervention.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced ICM Rule and Advanced Workflow Developer to support our SAP-based incentive compensation platform. This role plays a critical part in translating compensation plan design into system configuration, ensuring accurate payouts, strong governance, and efficient approval workflows.

You will work closely with Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and IT teams to configure calculation rules, build scalable workflows, and support ongoing compensation processing.
