Penspen is seeking a Senior HSE Engineer for a PMC assignment in Vadodara, India. The role focuses on technical safety and loss prevention during FEED and detailed engineering of a major petrochemical expansion.

The candidate will serve as the PMC focal point, ensuring integration of safety requirements into design, reviewing compliance with codes and standards, and providing independent technical assurance throughout engineering and execution phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is required.
• Minimum 15 years of total experience in technical safety/loss prevention within petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, LNG, or related industrial projects.
• Strong experience in petrochemical projects and FEED, design & detail engineering.
• Proven background working with PMC organizations.

The role is responsible for ensuring that technical safety requirements are fully integrated into the design, reviewed for compliance with applicable codes and standards, and implemented throughout project execution. The successful candidate will provide independent technical assurance of contractor engineering deliverables, safety studies, risk assessments, and loss prevention designs while supporting the safe and reliable delivery of the project. The role requires extensive experience in technical safety engineering within petrochemical, oil & gas, refining, or major industrial projects, with a strong background in FEED and detailed engineering.

Minimum Requirements
