Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Vadodara, India is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead multidisciplinary engineering for a major petrochemical expansion, covering FEED through commissioning as the PMC representative.

The role requires a strong background in FEED and detailed engineering, plus broad project management experience for petrochemical/refining/oil & gas projects, with close coordination to the Owner, EPC contractors, licensors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project engineering and project management within petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, or major industrial projects.
• Strong experience in petrochemical projects.
• Proven background working with PMC organizations.
• Experience in FEED, Design & Detail Engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all engineering phases from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, commissioning and project close-out.
• Act as the PMC representative ensuring engineering deliverables, schedules, costs, quality and HSE objectives meet project plans.
• Coordinate with Owner, EPC Contractor, licensors, vendors and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and engineering integrity.

We are currently seeking Senior Project Engineer to join a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) assignment for a major petrochemical project.

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for managing and coordinating all engineering phases of a major petrochemical expansion project from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement support, construction, commissioning, and project close-out. Acting as the PMC representative, the role ensures that engineering deliverables, technical requirements, project schedules, costs, quality standards, and HSE objectives are achieved in accordance with project execution plans and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed engineering, and multidisciplinary design management within large-scale petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, or industrial projects. The role requires close coordination with the Owner, EPC Contractor, licensors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining engineering integrity, project governance, and operational readiness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in project engineering and project management within petrochemical, refining, oil & gas, or major industrial projects.
