Job summary

Ameriprise India LLP seeks an HRIS specialist to manage Workday configurations, gather business requirements, and drive upgrades and process improvements. You will collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver effective HR solutions and support implementations across HR modules.

You will translate needs into design documents, guide testing strategies, and resolve issues across stakeholders, with a focus on Time Tracking, Absence Management, HCM, Benefits, and Payroll.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Workday HCM experience.
• Good Knowledge of HCM tasks.
• Basic Payroll knowledge.
• Provide training and support to multiple stakeholders.
• Create design document based on new functionality.
• Partner with Stakeholder to understand the requirement and provide strong consultation on approach and testing strategies.
• Responsible to resolve the issues reported by various groups.

Responsibilities

• In depth understanding of the HRIS application (functional aspects), including all integration points with vendors or other internal company systems.
• Broad understanding of other business areas' processes and systems that impact HRIS.
• Serves as a consultant for functional users, technical staff, and business partners across the company.
• Builds strong relationships with Tech and Business Partners across the organization.
• Responsible for reviewing potential new functionality within the system & how it would be implemented within existing HRIS suite.
• Responsible to configure Workday modules but not limited to following areas such as Time Tracking, Absence Management, Workday HCM, Workday Benefits, Workday Payroll

Job Description

This position is responsible for the HRIS system (WorkDay) in identifying business requirements for projects, upgrades and process improvements, which include Configuring new requirements, creating project and process specifications, staging of test environments and data and ensuring smooth implementations. Facilitates requirement gathering and alignment with business and technology partners, while playing critical roles in projects. Solves complex system and system-related problems. Plays a critical role in cross-functional projects and any merger and acquisition activities. Role will require to understand various Workday related requirements and configure the system effectively.
