Stantec in Pune is seeking a Senior CAD Designer to join our growing team. The role supports highway engineers and senior staff in the successful delivery of road projects, ensuring quality and timely outputs.

The candidate will produce detailed drawings, coordinate with internal and external disciplines, and maintain comprehensive design records throughout contract durations, reflecting our people-first approach to exciting career opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings for road/highway projects, correctly interpret data and effectively communicate to others.
• Preparation of Layout Plans, General Arrangement Drawings, Grading Plans, Plan & Profile Drawings, Cross Sections, Drainage Drawings, pipe network drawings, civil layouts, signage, and line marking plans, junction drawings, signal drawings, set out plans and all drawings required for the successful delivery of a road/highway project.
• Ensure delivery of project deliverables in accordance with quality, timescales, and budget.
• Check drafting work of Junior draftsmen and CAD technicians.
• Plan, program, and co-ordinate for allocated projects.
• Maintain communication and develop ongoing contacts with clients as required.
• Maintain records of all design drawings/documents.
• Coordinate drawing production with all other project disciplines both internal and external to Stantec.
• Understand design development.
• Maintain drawing files and records throughout the duration of contracts.
