Utthunga Technologies is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to carry power and hardware subsystems from schematic to validated, shipping products. You will own the delivery, bring boards up on the bench, characterize current and thermal behavior, and drive EVT/DVT/PVT to production in rugged industrial platforms.
You will validate wide-input DC front-ends, AC-DC and DC-DC converters, PMICs, hot‑swap and power‑mux architectures while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure
We’re looking for a hands‑on hardware engineer who lives at the bench and loves taking a design from schematic to a validated, shipping product. You’ll implement, validate, debug and qualify the power and hardware subsystems that keep our platforms running — wide-input DC front-ends, AC-DC and DC-DC conversion, PMICs, PoE, hot‑swap and power‑mux architectures — across industrial edge AI computers, AGV controllers, railway onboard units and rugged networking gateways. This is a true engineering‑execution role. You’ll work from the architecture and requirements set by our System Architects and Technical Leads, then own the delivery: getting the power design right, bringing boards up on the bench, characterizing current and thermal behavior, driving products through EVT/DVT/PVT, and standing behind them into production.
Power systems: wide-input DC systems, AC-DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, buck & boost regulators, PMICs, load switches, hot‑swap solutions and power‑mux architectures. Board‑level validation: power measurements, current profiling, thermal characterization, power‑integrity (PI) measurements and start‑up/shut‑down sequence verification. EMI/EMC: pre‑compliance verification, EMI troubleshooting, noise‑source identification, filtering optimization and EMC qualification support. Product qualification: thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, temperature‑cycling and reliability testing to Industrial and Railway profiles. Equipment: oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer, vector network analyzer, power analyzer, electronic load, thermal camera and environmental chambers.
