Job description

Who is Litmus

Litmus is building the data foundation that powers industrial AI. AI doesn’t work without real‑world, contextualized data — Litmus makes that data usable. As AI adoption accelerates, most industrial environments still can’t access or use their operational data. We solve that gap.

We’re a growth‑stage software company helping manufacturers access, structure, and use real‑time data from machines, systems, and sensors at the edge. Our platform sits at the intersection of edge computing, AI, and industrial operations, enabling some of the world’s largest companies to run operations in real time, reduce downtime, and optimize production.

Backed by leading investors and trusted by global manufacturers and partners like Google, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, and Mitsubishi, Litmus is powering the shift toward software‑defined manufacturing.

Why join Litmus

Build the infrastructure that makes industrial AI possible. AI is moving beyond the cloud and into the physical world. At Litmus, you’ll build the infrastructure that enables real‑time data to power AI and machine learning systems in production environments.

Work on problems where software meets the real world. Most AI systems fail without access to real‑world data. You’ll build the layer that makes them viable in production. We solve challenges at the intersection of distributed systems, real‑time data, and industrial constraints — where reliability, scale, and performance are non‑negotiable.

Have real impact, fast. You’ll work on systems used by real customers in production, with direct impact on product and company trajectory. As a scaling company, we move quickly. You’ll have ownership, visibility, and the ability to shape both product and company as we scale.

Join a high‑performance team. We’re building a team that holds a high bar and pushes each other to improve. You’ll work alongside experienced operators, engineers, and leaders who have done this before and are building again at scale. We hire people who take ownership, move quickly, and care about outcomes. No passengers.

Our culture. At Litmus, the team is collaborative, curious, and low ego. People are scrappy, take ownership, and look for ways to make an impact. We value empathy just as much as execution, whether that’s in how we build, how we communicate, or how we support each other.

We’re a growing company, so things move quickly and not everything is perfectly defined. If you enjoy figuring things out, working closely with others, and making steady progress, you’ll do well here.

About The Role

Litmus is hiring a Senior GTM Stack Developer to own the technical layer of our revenue operations. You design, configure, automate, integrate, test, and maintain the systems that power our commercial process end‑to‑end. You'll work closely with our Director of RevOps and Manager of Revenue Operations to translate business requirements into working systems across our Salesforce‑centric GTM stack.

This is an engineering role. You read a requirements doc, ask the right technical questions, and ship clean, tested solutions. You own the quality of what you build – not just the initial delivery.

You’ll operate in a sprint‑based environment with structured QA cycles, documented releases, and clear handoff standards. You work async with a Toronto‑based team, so strong written and spoken English is required.

There is also room to grow into this role. Litmus is actively bringing AI‑driven enrichment and agentic workflows into the GTM stack (Clay’s AI enrichment logic, Salesforce Agentforce/Einstein, HubSpot Breeze), and you’ll have a direct hand in deciding how those capabilities get designed into our commercial systems, not just maintaining what already exists.

What You’ll Do
Salesforce platform
  • Configuration: objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, record types, permission sets, sharing rules
  • Automation: Flows, Apex triggers, Apex classes, batch jobs, scheduled jobs
  • Data model optimization and schema governance
  • Reports, dashboards, and KPI data layer
  • Sandbox management: org strategy, refresh cycles, deployment across dev/staging/production
  • Ongoing maintenance and enhancements: bug fixes, system updates, Salesforce release adaptation
Salesforce CPQ & quote‑to‑cash
  • Product catalog, pricebooks, bundles, subscription products, product rules
  • Pricing rules, discount schedules, approval matrices
  • Quote templates, output document design, e‑signature integration
  • NetSuite SFDC handoff: own the integration and maintain clean data flow
Integrations & API work
  • SFDC HubSpot sync: contacts, leads, accounts, lifecycle stages, campaign attribution
  • Zendesk → SFDC: support ticket data into revenue pipeline and account health
  • NetSuite SFDC: evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain the connector
  • REST and SOAP API integrations using middleware (Make, Workato, or equivalent)
Top‑of‑funnel & enrichment
  • Clay enrichment waterfalls: multi‑vendor pipelines, fallback logic, field mapping into SFDC
  • Lead capture → enrichment → scoring → routing logic in SFDC and HubSpot
  • HubSpot workflow automation: lead nurture, lifecycle transitions, campaign operations
Testing, QA & deployment
  • Write and maintain Apex test classes meeting ≥85% code coverage on all custom code
  • Build and execute UAT test plans for all major releases before go‑live
  • Manage sprint‑based delivery cycles: story grooming, build, test, deploy, retrospective
  • Maintain a change log and release notes for every production deployment
What You’ll Bring
Must Have
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Core
  • Strong experience with Salesforce CPQ
  • Apex Development (Classes, Triggers, Batch Apex, Scheduled Apex)
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Flow Builder (Record‑Triggered, Screen, Auto‑Launched Flows)
  • SOQL & SOSL query writing
  • REST & SOAP API integrations
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations and middleware (Make, Workato, or equivalent)
  • Product catalog, bundles, pricing rules, and discount schedules in CPQ
  • Quote‑to‑Order process
  • Approval workflow configuration
  • Apex test class development and maintaining code coverage
  • Sandbox management and deployment using Change Sets/Metadata API
  • Experience integrating HubSpot with Salesforce
  • Experience integrating NetSuite (or similar ERP) with Salesforce
  • Experience with Zendesk (or equivalent support platform) integrations
  • Experience with output document templates
  • Working knowledge of BI tools (Tableau, Looker, or equivalent)
Required Certifications
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist
Nice to Have
  • Experience with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
  • Understanding of AI‑driven enrichment and agentic workflows
  • Experience with Clay enrichment pipelines
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Agentforce/Einstein
  • Familiarity with HubSpot Breeze
  • Ability to validate AI‑generated enrichment, lead scoring, and content before production
  • Experience with Git‑based source control
  • Exposure to Salesloft or Outreach
